DataTracks, the global leader in disclosure management and regulatory compliance software and services, today announced that they have been selected as the iXBRL solution provider of choice by Brandesign Group (Pty) Ltd., a leading branding and investor communications agency in South Africa. DataTracks’s Disclosure Management Solution (DMS) is currently used by listed companies to file financial statements in XBRL/iXBRL formats with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US. DataTracks upgraded its DMS to include South Africa’s CIPC taxonomy well before the upcoming mandate, wherein all qualifying companies in South Africa are required to file their Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in iXBRL. This compliance filing requirement is effective from 1 July 2018.
With the ability to provide both a cloud software for self-use or fully outsourced conversion services, DataTracks is gearing up for the upcoming mandate, actively onboarding clients – both direct filers and intermediaries.
“One of the cornerstones of our business is collaboration and it was with this in mind that we set about securing the services of a partner in this space,” said Sue Luck, Head of Investor Communications at Brandesign. “After extensive research, we selected DataTracks, who, through their services, are enabling us to deliver market leading XBRL and iXBRL services to our investor communications clients,” continued Mike Taberner, Director and Head of Strategy at Brandesign.
“Backed by the expertise that comes with having generated 100,000+ XBRL/iXBRL reports to date, DataTracks is poised to provide a robust and reliable solution for filers to comply with the upcoming iXBRL filing requirements in July 2018,” said Arjun Ram, Head of Business Development for South Africa at DataTracks. “We are delighted to onboard Brandesign, the market leader in brand development in South Africa, as our newest client. This win reinforces our position as the leading provider of solutions in the iXBRL reporting space.”
